Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris

Something more than a watch – the Polaris Collection combines sporting elegance with aesthetic design.

An original recording of the Memovox Polaris from 1968.

Historic Inspiration for the man of today

The Polaris Collection by Jaeger-LeCoultre was inspired by the Memovox Polaris of 1968, an icon of the Grande Maison. Yet it offers much more than a tribute to an historic model. Instead, the collection captures the spirit of the Memovox Polaris and reinterprets it.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris integrates the extraordinary craftsmanship of the manufacturer, which produces all mechanical movements under the one roof, with robustness, aesthetic design, and sporting elegance to create a symbol of an active lifestyle.

The combination of athleticism and elegance

The Polaris Collection features an impressive, athletic design and the air of elegance characteristic of the Grande Maison. The dials in black, blue, and anthracite gray emphasize the masculine flair with a touch of nonchalance. Thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating on the hour markers, digits, and hands, the watch’s functionality can also be used superbly in the dark. Two models have this coating in a vanilla tone, resulting in a more vintage style reminiscent of the tritium of the original Memovox Polaris.

The sapphire crystal case back that features in most models of this collection offers an open view into the automatic movement.

The aesthetic codes

The dial draws on three different finishes for its embellishment, featuring a sunburst finish in the center, graining on the perimeter for the hours and minutes track, and an opaline finish for the rotating inner bezel. The case combines surfaces that are brushed and hand-polished. The stainless steel bracelet with a finish varying between polished and brushed was specially designed to provide the perfect addition to the case’s design.

Useful functions for every day

Everyday companions that just as easily accompany their wearer on adventures too, the models in the Polaris Collection were designed with useful functions such as a date display, alarm, chronograph, and world time chronograph. All models are ultra-reliable and have undergone the “1,000 Hours Control” test. The models are water-resistant up to 100 or 200 meters and available with a metal bracelet or rubber, alligator leather, or calf leather strap. The leather straps are easy to swap without tools thanks to a fast interchangeability system.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic is the collection's debut model and features two crowns, one for setting the time and one for the rotating inner bezel. The inner bezel reflects the diver design of this timepiece and makes it simple to measure the time that has elapsed during a dive.
For many people, the chronograph is the most practical watch complication in the art of horology. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph, with a diameter of 42 mm, is the most athletic model in the new collection and features a tachymeter bezel that can determine speed over a fixed distance.
As a travel chronograph par excellence, Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph WT makes it possible to check the time in 24 cities around the world. This model with a 44 mm titanium case is the perfect companion for lovers of fine horology who enjoy traveling the world.
